Middle East Covering is the unique show dealing with flooring and covering sector for all the MENA area. The exhibition is focused on surface design solutions, eco-friendly coverings and innovation products.
The show was created following the big success of the Surfaces and Finishes sector at INDEX. The continuous growth of the number of the sector’s exhibitors made its relocation obligatory due to space demand.

The previous edition of Middle East Covering saw visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. The exhibition hosted 250 companies from 21 countries and 12,657 visitors from more than 100 countries. The Designers’ Forum gave the opportunity to 41 international speakers to focus on the latest innovations of the construction sector. Finally the CPD Certified Workshops and Seminars were available to 21 points.

The most important reasons that MIDDLE EAST COVERING attracts so big attention are:
The population growth of all the GCC area and its strong demand base, the large and sustained government investments, the developmental goals set by the governments, the continuous growth of the tourism, the infrastructure development and the mega projects of the area (planned and under construction), the programs for investments on education, healthcare and housing and finally the political stability of the regimes of the GCC countries.
Dubai with its remarkable diversity is the commercial and tourism center for the whole GCC area and considered one of the world’s most connected cities gathering millions of visitors each year. Also the GCC construction sector was accelerated rapidly again in 2016, with many governments announcing a number of major development projects, especially on social infrastructure demands.
