Polimagra Granitos is one of the main Portuguese companies operating in the processing and marketing of granite, marble and limestone products. Polimagra was founded in 1995 but began operating in 1999, at premises in the industrial zone of Moimenta da Beira, being geared from the outset to manufacturing granite products. To mark its strong and sustained growth, Polimagra launched a new modernization programme in 2009, which doubled the production capacity through technological updating and improved levels of organization. In 2010 Polimagra became a public company and obtained certification for its Quality and Environment management systems with standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 respectively.
